Shmelt Studios ("we," "us," or "our") builds plugins for Figma. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — across our website (shmeltstudios.com) and our Figma plugins, including BatchStudio. We designed our products to collect as little data as possible. We do not sell your personal information.
Information Collection and Use
Website When you visit shmeltstudios.com, we may collect usage data such as pages visited, referring URL, browser type, and device type, collected via cookies and similar technologies, and contact information you provide voluntarily, such as your name and email address when subscribing to our newsletter or contacting support.
Figma Plugins (BatchStudio) — Our plugins operate primarily within Figma's own environment. We do NOT collect or store your Figma account information, your design files or design content, the contents of your CSV files, your text layer content, or payment or billing details (handled entirely by Figma). BatchStudio includes a server-side proxy (hosted on Vercel) that fetches images on your behalf to work around browser security restrictions. The proxy receives image URLs from your CSV data, fetches the image, returns it to the plugin, and does not log, store, or retain image URLs or image data after the request completes.
Payments — BatchStudio uses the Figma Payments API for all billing. When you subscribe to BatchStudio Pro, your payment is processed entirely by Figma. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment details.
Data Protection and User Rights
Security — We use industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we handle. Our proxy server runs on Vercel's infrastructure with HTTPS encryption for all requests.
Your Rights — You have the right to access any personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate personal data, delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and receive your data in a portable format. Cookies — Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand site usage and improve your experience. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Our Figma plugins do not use cookies.
Children's Privacy — Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
